Next event is Wed 18th Jan 8.30pm, £3/5
After several successful years in Norwich, and now over 1 year of Bristol shows, the Lights Out evening will be running in both cities this year!

After a busy year writing and performing with folk Duo 'Ys', Soon emerging Hip hop Quintet 'Almatic', Katie has had a productive year. Keen to explore her solo sound, she's putting herself and her melodies at the front of the stage.
Katie's evocotive voice has a wonderful range and phenominal layers of texture, while her performances are both warming, and hypnotic all at once.
A Bristol-based singer, songwriter, musician and lyricist, Kiah weaves a rich tapestry of influences into a soulful and compelling sound.
Performing as a solo artist, he combines elements of storytelling, poetic lyricism and african styled guitar, inspired by songwriters like Tom Waits, John Martyn and Gil Scott Heron, and world music artists like Toumani Diabate, Oumou Sangare and Salif Keita.
His music has featured on BBC Introducing and Sky TV and received outstanding reviews from the likes of Miniature Music Press, Bristol 24/7 and Bearded Magazine.
Kiah also plays percussion and continues to sing and write in a number of local bands.
